Back in 1986 a hard working and determined man by the name of Clyde
Booth
moved from Los Angeles as a plant manager of a large company
and decided to open a retail store in the
little town of Salvisa, Ky where he grew up, where his heart was.
He decided to call it BOO-Z WEARHOUSE.
The BOO-Z(boo-zee)
after his late father, also a very successful business man in his time.
The business started with jeans, toys, car stereos at the retail level in the
the late 80's and early 90's. It has since progressed into heat transfers to the
company's own line of
heat presses and digital transfer paper known all over the world. There is now a
small retail store and a large fully stocked wholesale warehouse that ships
hundreds of orders across the nation everyday.
To make a long story short the success of BOO-Z WEARHOUSE
stems
from hard work, honesty and plain ol' business driven blood.
The statement below is not just a catchy phrase to
sound all warm and fuzzy. It embodies and exemplifies everything
Clyde Booth, "little BOO-Z" stands for and believes in.
People that know him would find this to be an understatement.
Clyde now resides in the state of Florida and rides his Harley(s) year round,
something he has always wanted to do and I could not be happier for him.
To say the least I have a lot to live up to and I plan to carry on the tradition of
hard work and honest business practices that my dad has instilled in me over the years.
